Affirmations can be very powerful. It is recommended that you say them at least twice a day, aloud if possible. More often is better, as these positive statements will begin to replace any negative ones repeatedly playing in your subconscious mind. Feel free to change them to better suit your own needs.
Morning Postive Thinking Affirmation
Today, I honor my body. I love myself, and I treat myself with respect.
I listen only to my own inner wisdom, and let it guide my every thought and action.
Today, I set my own limitations. I decide what I am capable of, and I constantly remind myself that I am capable of much more than I usually believe I am.
Today, I deny others the chance to make me feel badly about myself. I dismiss any negative remarks or looks that may be tossed my way.
I keep in mind at all times that my opinion of myself is the only one that counts.
Today, I treat myself with kindness, and I love every inch of my wonderful body. I choose to remember that many people do not have fully functional bodies. Many people do not have legs to walk on, arms to hug with, eyes to see with, or ears to hear with. I remind myself that I am blessed with the miracle of a healthy, mobile body, and I rejoice in that fact.
Today, I let my heart fill with as much love as it can hold, and I express that love to all that I encounter, whether they be human, animal or plant life. I treat others as I would like to be treated: with kindness, compassion, respect and love. I express love to myself, and treat myself as I would like others to treat me: with kindness, compassion, respect and love.
Today, I acknowledge the inner light within me, and I honor that inner light, for it is the true source of my beauty. I share that inner light with everyone I encounter. I remember that my beauty has nothing to do with my body size or weight - my beauty has everything to do with who I am, and I honor that person, always.
Today, I believe in myself, trust myself, love myself, respect myself, honor myself, appreciate myself and value myself. I am a beautiful person, and I let each of my thoughts and actions express that belief.
Morning Postive Thinking Affirmation (Alternate)
(This one is especially helpful if you are trying to change physical habits, like diet and exercise)
Today, I believe in myself.
I believe that I have what it takes to succeed. I believe that I can meet any goal I set for myself. I believe that I am worthy of these goals.
Today, I trust myself to make the right decisions. I make decisions that benefit me as a person. I make decisions that contribute to my well being, rather than take away from it.
Today, I honor myself. I love myself and treat myself kindly. I respect my body and act as if I were the most important person in my life, for I am.
Today, I stay in the present moment. I cannot change the past, nor control the future. I can only influence this moment. I choose to stay aware and focused.
Today, I am optimistic. I remember that my thoughts create my reality. I think positively, and surround myself with positive energy, people and situations.
The future is now.
Evening Healing Affirmation
Tonight, as I sleep, I allow the white Christ-light of healing and protection to encase my entire being. I allow this soothing energy to erase any and all negative energies that may plague me. I allow this energy to calm me, heal me, and restore me to total health.
Tonight, I will sleep deeply, calmly and restfully. I allow my body to fully relax, and I dismiss any and all worries that I have held throughout the day. I release all anger, all disappointments, all heartaches and all frustrations to my God/dess. I let Him/Her handle anything that I cannot. I let Him/Her cradle me as I sleep. I ask Him/Her protect me and watch over me as I sleep.
Tonight is a time for rest and restoration. It is a time to recharge my inner batteries, and to release any tension I may be holding within my body. It is a time for me to reconnect with my Source, and to remember Who I truly am. May I encounter my Higher Self while I sleep. May She/He guide me to higher levels of consciousness and love. May I encounter my own authenticity while I rest.
Tonight, I will dream lovely, peaceful, insightful dreams. I will understand my dreams, and I will remember them. I will internalize the messages they hold for me. I will use them to empower and uplift myself, and to help me actualize my own internal strengths and abilities.
May I awaken fully rested, refreshed and recharged, ready to face the day before me with zest and joy for life. This is my wish for myself, this night. As I have stated, so shall it be.
